Ferin Quietsong

<edit> I keep resubmitting this because I am trying to find a happy medium between my printer and my monitor and my art. I just happen to be using this pic as a reference.
I am thinking that the solution is just to get a new monitor dammit.

Wings are so #@&$! hard.

Seriously. Most times I have to look back to my other accomplished wing drawings so I have something to go by. I read one talented artist tell people in her tutorial not to forget the bones. Something about wings being more than just fluffy white puffs. I think that ruined me because now I try to make sure they don't look so boneless. I'd rather glue cotton balls to my monitor on either sides of his back, and include instructions on how to glue your own cotton balls to get the right effect.
Ah well.


Quietsong/Ferin is an elder flyer of the Sun's Alliance on the island of Sol, guardian to the prince, sheilder, and guarded himself by Glide/Dharem. He is generally a quiet elf, who does much thinking over talking. A strong guardian and sheilder before the fortress capture, going inside made his body weak and frail. Lifegift/Quan, the clan healer, has worked hard to restore his body to what it once was. Filled with honor for his Prince and love for his family, he is devoted completely. Quietsong/Ferin is in love with Lifegift/Quan and for now, keeps it a secret.
